We loved the Altstadt and would absolutely recommend the hotel to anyone who is looking for a hotel that has beautiful spacious rooms, fabulous breakfasts and wonderful afternoon treats. I look forward to returning to Vienna just to stay again at the Alstadt. The location is very convenient to the metro and is actually a very easy walk to the heart of Vienna.

Had a fabulous stay, the accommodation was spot on and the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely go back to the Altstadt and would recommend to friends and family

Direction to Reception not very clear as it is on the first floor.

Arrived via taxi prebooked by hotel. All good!!

Thought plants in pots outside hotel were half dead and this created a poor impression. The water for the tea in the afternoon was lukewarm and so we could not drink the tea we made.. Cake was good. We enjoyed our stay and walked to centre of town,despite my husband having a temporary limp!It was nice to stay somewhere not quite so 'corporate'.
