Hotel will very willingly arrange private transport to and from the airport.
...
Location - ideal, best of both worlds in terms of proximity to both Venice Island and the beach.
Would recommend Lido over Venice Island anytime especially if island hotel does not have a water frontage making transporting your own baggage a nightmare.

Had some prpblems with electricity blackouts in the middle of the night and could find no staff to contact at that time.

Warm, friendly and very accommodating. The very of the lagoon from the fron garden as the sun sets is breathtaking, like looking at Turner comming to life. Far from the tourist beaten track but close enough to get there with ease. Great to be amongst real Venetians.

Dinner in the garden was a most pleasurable experience, so much so that we ate there both nights. Breakfast was somewhat modest, and the room rather cramped, but all perfectly adequate.

A convenient and restful location on the lagoon before or after tackling the rigours of Venice. Delightful garden bar and dining for the hot season.

Confusion over our water taxi from the airport, the receptionist threatened to charge us again when we had already paid. Not a nice way to start our holiday.
On good side there was a birthday cake for my wife which I had ordered.

My sons aged 19 & 13 said the only thing lacking was a swimming pool which would have been nice after the heat of Venice. Staff very good with my sons treated them as adults.

Very relexing away from the stress of Venice-enjoyed the lido-a bit of a walk to the water bus. Staff very helpful and understanding over my lack of Italian.
Lovely waking up and looking over the lido to St. Marks.

One of our party was booked for the Superior room but it was hard to justify the additional cost or that was ' superior '.
Overall our stay was superb and staff were lovely + very competent.

The hotel provided a free water taxi to Murano which was a lovely surprise
...
V good value and much better value than those hotels we considered on the Venice island

we arrived late at night because plane was
delayed,there wasn't a bus neither a taxi,
so we had to walk for 10 or 15 minutes and
couldn't find the entrance of the
hotel.Nobody offered us a drink, there was
only a receptionist, who was freindly ( i t
was about 1.30 or 2 o'clock at night)

it wasn't clear from the website that we had
to walk or go by bus to the vaporetto dock.
It would be nice if the hotel would offer a
shuttle service from their own dock for the
guests either to the vaporetto dock or to
San Marco.

Nice, friendly, quiet, more spacious rooms
than in Venice itself and a garden, although
not really with a nice view on the lagune
( more on cars than on the lagune). But
because of the vaporetto stop too far away I
don't know if I would stay there next time,
because that prevented us to go back in the
evening for dinner in Venice itself.

I specifically asked for a double bed only to be given two single beds pushed together in our room.

- The room was ready at 4 pm instead of 1 pm.
- We got the accommodation as stated in the voucher except the welcome drink which we didn't received
