The couple who run it were very nice helpful people who spoke excellent english.
They recomended to us a lovely restraunt for our first meal and helped us with information on the water buses

Very smooth experience, no problems whatsoever.

Lovely hotel. Slightly off the beaten track so it was quieter and the local restaurants were cheaper but still excellent quality. The main (ie tourist) areas of Venice are only a short walk away through quiet picturesque streets.

The hotels complete renovation was superb. It is extremely clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good but not as good as other places we stayed. It's in a quiet neighborhood with excellent restaurants nearby that are mostly patronized by locals. The hotel is about 5 minutes to nearest vaporetti and about 10 minutes walk to the academia bridge. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Hotel Tiziano was just beautiful and in a wonderful part of Venice. The people who ran it were WONDERFUL!! Very nice, very helpful with recommendations and directions, couldn't have asked for more. The hotel was clean and comfortable and I would stay there again and recommend it highly to anyone. Guilia baked the most wonderful fresh cakes for breakfast every morning!

An excellent hotel offering very good value for money. Neat and well-kept both outside and in. Well-located if, like us, you would enjoy wandering the quiet back-streets and canals of Venice: also only a short walk to some world-class churches, the Zattere and the Accademia. Has a delightful resident dog called Pongo (small and not aggressive at all!)

Directions were as clear as they can be made for Venice but could definitely do with an extract of a map to show route from the main vaporetta stop (San Basilio) or the stop for the airport boat (Zattere - just beyond the normal vaporetta stop at Zattere)to the Hotel.

While the hotel is a little away from some of the main attractions it is a very quite neighbourly environment which is a welcome relief from the hectic touristy side of Venice. All of the staff in the hotel and nearby restaurants/bars were particularly friendly and it felt more like a real 'lived in' part of Venice.

Excellent accommodation, spacious and modern rooms and facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful and there is a nice family-run feel although this doesn't take away from efficiency. Although a little away from the main areas it is very manageable with the water buses and much nicer in the evening for dining in terms of value, quality and service.

I had a good street map with me which, together with the on-line directions, made it easy for me to find the Tiziano

I was very pleased with my stay at the Tiziano, and would happily return on my next visit to Venice. I was especially pleased with all the fine restaurants in the immediate neighborhood, which meant that we rarely went far for dinner. I was also impressed with the Tiziano's staff's helpfulness in suggesting restaurants andmaking reservations.

A lovely small hotel, in a quiet neighborhood near the university, but with good small restaurants nearby that cater to both tourists and local residents. Easy access to the rest of the city. I would happily stay at the Tiziano again on my next visit to Venic.

With regard to the room-rate we found the breakfast-buffet not satisfying as it is lacking variety.
Breakfast time is from 8:00 to 10:00 o'clock, but when we came down for breakfast at 9:20 there were no tables available because they had not yet been cleared; on the buffet then there was no cheese, ham, orange juice left, we had to ask the single staff member (who has to do check out and phone duties at the same time) and had to state how many slices we exactly wanted...

It is only a short way by foot(max. 10 min) and easily to describe from Piazza Roma and it is not necessary to use a Vaporetto (5 Euro), especially since the tour is not very nice (some industry and the port).

Very nice; in an interesting area (only few tourists), to San Marco you have to walk a bit longer, ask for the large room.

Spent over an hour at 3am trying to find the hotel since no one had heard of it or the area at the bus station Plaza Roma.
This was the worst part of the holiday. The hotel staff/owners were excellent and very helpful.

It would have been nice to have tea making facilities in the room, which is what I requested prior to stay.

Venice prices are high so I only rate value as fair.

Excellent disabled facs. Very helpful staff. We booked online after seeing pictures of the disabled facs. and were not disappointed. We hope other hotels we could book online would show what facilites were on offer.

I would have liked some kind of ecological policy on room cleaning. In many hotels now guests are offered the chance to say they do not need change of towels, or even the bed made etc, every day.
