With the matrix of alley ways that make Venice so chraming and the fact that we were quite tired from our trip, I was quite apprehensive about being able to find this property. However, Mario had arranged with s to call him when we arrived at the train station and he would meet us at the Boat Taxi stop. I couldn't apprieciate it any more than when I saw him there.

I must say that the experience of staying at Residenza degli Angeli was absolutely great! The DeBarros were charming, helpful and made us feel that we were just another Venician family staying with them. I will not stay anywhere else on my visits to Vence. Thank you Mario, Christina and Esmirelda.

As with all growing businesses there are alway suggestions through the initial stages of the process. The only drawback, and only beccause I was there on business with my family, was not having phone service. Actually, more importantly, access to the internet as it is necessary for me to monitor and maintain several websites and communicate with customers.

Staying at the Residenza degli Angeli is like having an apartment in Venice. The value of staying here is not only contained in the commercial terms but in the experience of living in Venice. Having instant friends, like the DeBarros, makes you feel like you have been there for months.

Mr. DeBarros met us at the water bus stop and it was maybe a 5 minute walk to the room. The location was great, the room was very clean and Esmeralda and her husband were extremely polite and very helpful.

The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very nice and seemed to have been recently remodeled. The neighborhood was very quiet with very little foot traffic other than the local children heading off to school in the morning. Extremely peaceful at nightime.

We were allowed to store our luggage in the lobby and were given the door key so we could return in the afternoon for it. A very pleasant stay.

A very clean, peaceful room in a great location that was only minutes away from the Grand Canal. Everything was within walking distance and the DeBarros sent us to several local restaurants that were not packed with tourist, were a great value and served wonderful food.

Small and intime. It would be good to mention that there is no reception and not necessary any personnel on the site. You can't just walk in but you have to call first that you are coming.

Our host was etxtremely helpful. It was nice that he came to fetch us in few minutes when we called him that we are somewhere nearby. The atmosphere was cosy and intime. Furnitures were nice.

The owners were very friendly and helpful and they recommended very good places to eat. The B&B was in a very good location that was not too touristy but close enough to the main attractions.

My husband and I travelled to many countries in Europe and found this to be the best accomodation. It was a very pretty room and extremely clean. The people we dealt with were very helpful and genuinely nice. It was perfect.

Very clean and attractive rooms. The people were very polite and the service was extremely good. This may sound strange but the room temperature was perfect. They had the air-conditioner on a certain temperature that was just perfect.

Great location, but the directions were impossible. It would be great to make it very clear that the arriving guests should call the hotel to get them to come and pick them up (which they are happy to do) at the ferry stop.

Very nice, very friendly, good location, beautiful equipped. (The only negative, windows should be closed, smelly backyard; however there's A/C).

Very tough to find on your own for the first time. Definitely call and arrange to have them meet you somewhere. Very nice accomodation and breakfast and the owners are wonderfully friendly and helpful.

It is in a fantastic location - away from all the tourists, but close enough to all the main sites of venice. I couldn't recommend it enough!
