Ca' Zose was a fantastic place to stay. The staff were always helpful and polite and the breakfast was fantastic. I would recommend the hotel to my friends and family and anyone travelling to Venice.

Very nice hotel. The owners are very helpful and very nice with us. They answer to our questions and give us some services as informations and reservations for restaurants. I wish to come back there another time!

We had a delightful stay. The hotel was ideally located right on a canal. Rooms clean, bathroom modern and well appointed. I can highly recommend it and will stay again there when I'm in Venice next year.

We were warmly greeted and made to feel very welcome. Rooms were ready.

We had a very enjoyable visit to Ca'Zose. The owners were very hospitalble, everyone was very friendly & helpful.
The rooms and all of the establishment was spotless and very comfortable. The position is excellent - very close to all the main attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice
The only complaint - I would dearly have loved to have Tea / Coffee facilities in our room. Missed being able to make hot drink

Ca'Zose is a beatiful old building - in the heart Venice. It has been refurbished to a high standard. It is ideally situated for seeing all the sights. The owners are very friendly and helful. The level of service is excellent.

they need a proper detailed map of directions also it would of helped if the place had a proper sign above.

the heating system was not working after the 1st night it was cold during the night periods. i thing this was turned off at the main to save money.Also a lack of storage and hanging in the room and bathroom. Especially in the shower as it was very small area there was no where put soap ect apart from on the shower floor and this was difficult to bend due to the size of the shower cubicle.

We noticed that certain clientel had a better offer of breakfast than we did. Ours was varied sweet cakes . Other were offered ham. Confused to as what we should of really got.

The television was just an ornament and could really not be used as every channel was in italian . It is the first holiday where we have not had access to some kind of english news channel. Sky or BBC News. Although this was advertised as having TVs in the room. I would not of booked it regards to the TV having no news channels.

also because of the building work across the
alley we were woken on several occasions due to the noise in the early morning when they start work . As again if we had known that we were next door to a building site. we would not of booked at this hotel .

This location near the Salute stop is convenient but quiet. Get off at the Salute stop and turn right over the first bridge and you are there.

The morning receptionist is exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. She helped us research concerts and places we wanted to see. This location is perfect - close to two waterbus stops, the Accademia bridge, and the gondola ferry across the Grand Canal.

Dorsoduro is a great location in Venice. It has a residential feel although you can easily get to any of the tourist spots.

I would recommend this hotel to a friend for its convenience, modern amenities, cleanliness. The breakfast staff was very helpful and accomodating. The breakfast quality was very good.

Nice breakfast, 'brioches' and coffee always fresh. Easy access to the vaporetto that goes to the airport (just one bridge to carry the luggage over!).

the property has a common room on the second floor which was shared by three rooms. this adds additional usable space.
tasteful and charming decor.
second floor stairway is long and narrow, could be a problem for seniors or small women.

As House Numbering in Venice is quite confusing for the novice - it would be very helpful to include the not only House Number, but also the Street/Alley name on which the property is located, and the name of a cross street/fondementa/calle/etc.

This property is a fantastic location, the rooms were fresh, clean and large enough for two people to move around comfortably - however, the only negative comment I can make is that the internal walls are extremely thin, with no insulation/noise proofing, and one feels as though neighbours on both sides are staying in the same room as yourself.

Fantastic location, friendly service, comfortable surroundings, and with the Chiesa Santa Maria della Salute just down the street, I can't think of a better place to awake to the bells and carillon of an Italian Sunday morning.

We boarded the proper bus, but had trouble finding the exact street the hotel was on. We had the map provided, but still could not find our way.

The room was very very nice, but there was a strong odor of sewer gas. I don't think it was the canal, because the outside air didn't smell.

We liked it very much, and would recommend it to a friend. However, there was a strong odor in the room, it may have been sewer gas. Other than that, it was a lovely place to stay, and the owners of the hotel were very nice to us, and helpful in recommending places to eat and things to see. I would definetely go back when I visit Venice again.

We had no directions to the property and got off at the wrong stop on the vaporette causing us a really long walk with all of our luggage.The owner and her sister were extremely welcoming and very accomodating during our stay.

It was a little difficult to get to the room as they are still waiting on approval to attach the addition by the first floor. I think it will be more convenient when the addition is attached.

We informed the staff that we had a very early train to take on the morning of our departure, so we needed to check out one day before our departure. The staff said they were happy to accommodate our needs and would arrange for check out a day early and provide a box breakfast in our room to take when we left early the next morning. However, when we went to check out, the attendant did not know anything about this and had to call the owner, which became quite confusing. We then had to pay in cash, which we did not expect as we had been told that the American Express card would be acceptable. We had to use the rest of our cash and then locate a bank where we could obtain more cash for the remainder of our trip.
