We very much enjoyed the Casa Verardo, it was like staying in a palace, our room was gorgeous #101 and we couldn't have been more pleased with it

That it is about as easy to find and get to with your luggage as you can find in Venice. Near a great square.

We found the Hotel very cozy, neat and I would recommend it to my friends.

I would say it is an old Hotel, but maybe Vintage Hotel. The installation are excellent and we took several pictures to shouw it.

A comparable hotel in U.S. would have had an elevator, if not hotel personnel ready to help with bags. I'd requested first floor room with elevator and was not expecting to have to lug my baggage up a flight of stairs with my bum leg.

Within walking distance of train station and great art attractions of VEnice. Can't remember if that's on the website or not.
