Staff was very friendly when we arrived, helped us with pointing out certain things on the map, etc.

I wish I could remember the gentleman's name that helped us with our checkout, but we had to leave out very early, like at 6:30am, not only did he call and arrange for a water taxi to pick us up and take us to the airport but he walked out with us, helping us with our bags and waited with us to make sure the taxi arrived, I tried to show him our gratitude in the form of a tip(which from what I understand is not expected in some places) and he politely just shook my hand and thanked us for staying with them. All in all it was people like him that made our trip to Rome and Venice a very memorable time and we cannot wait to plan our next trip to Italy.

This is not even a negative, but being a fairly big guy (i stand 6'4, about 250 lbs.) the only down side to Locanda Ca' San Vio, is that with my size going up the stairs with a suitcase is a little tight, especially when the suitcase weighs 50 lbs. and I had to watch walking through the door to our room or I'd get a little bump on the head, which I kinda thought was funny.

Quaint and Charming, off the beaten path, very quiet, and very clean.

A absolutly wonderful/warm and welcoming hotel, staff are very friendly and accomodating, and there is always someone there to help you. Excellent!

The bed and breakfast was very conveniently sited in Venice and there was a restaurant very close by that had good food. The bedroom was small but adequate and the on suite bathroom had a good shower and the room was always clean and tidy when my daughter and I arrived back from our day out. I would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast.

Traveled from the train station by boat, easy to get to the hotel from there. Greeted on arrival, felt very welcome.

Locanda Ca' San Vio is a lovely hotel, in a quiet area of Venice. Good accomodation, friendly staff and very pleasant all around. Would recommend.

Our stay was wonderful. Staff was extremley helpful and the location was fabulous. Walking distance to all the sites. Room was clean. Small but that is European style.

I would recoommend to any one. Quiet area and a true Venice feeling about the location. Safe area.

One of the rooms we requested was nice, but very small. We also had use of an apartment, which was very spacious and comfortable. The apartment was perfect for satisfying our needs, so we did not use the small room. I would have appreciated just being offered the apartment for our group, instead of being offered the two rooms.

As mentioned above, if we had just been given the one apartment, it would have been very good value. If we had needed both, it would have been great value.
