The manager on duty was very friendly and
did everything to make our stay comfortable.
One problem I noticed was the lack of a
lift/elevator. The stairs were very steep.
It was difficult to manage the luggage.I did
get help with my luggage when we arrived.

The room was great. There is one problem
that needs to be corrected. The window did
not shut completely and we heard all the
noise from the bar down stairs. We were in
room 40. We did not get to sleep until
everyone left the bar.

I took care of my account the night before I
left. The manager said I would receive my
receipt in the morning since the computer
wouldn't print receipts before the check out
day. When we left the next morning, around h
7,00 the person on duty didn't know how to
turn on the computer so I didn't get my
receipt. I'm glad I took care of my account
the night before.

I don't remember if you advise about the
stairs being steep and not having a lift/
elevator, but make sure you list it.

I would recommend the hotel. The room we had
was spacious, very clean and the bathroom
was great. The location of the hotel is very
good.

Positive - the web site can include that the #82 Water Bus Shuttle is the most quickest and direct route to the hotel from the garage parking at Piazzale Roma, the Rialto Bridge is the third water bus stop.

The man on the reception desk carried one of our cases up the stairs to our room - and didn't expect to be tipped for doing so.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful except the two ladies who were working in the breakfast room. They were a bit brusque.

We were given clear advice on how to get to the airport and we were allowed to leave our luggage at the hotel while we did some more sightseeing. The staff were very accomodating.

The breakfast is a bit limited.

It's in an excellent location to see the sights of Venice.

I staied three days in Venise with my sister. We both liked the Hotel very much.
It is in a quiet little street with no passage, but with the explanation given on the internet, it is quiet easy to find. The rooms are friendly and clean, and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpfull all the time.
The only thing which is not so good, is the small size of the breakfastroom. The breakfast itself was good and plenty enough to start off for the day.
If we have the chance to return to Venise, we will surely come back to the hotel Bartolomeo.

Did not take very long . Everything explained clearly. Helped us with directions.

It was a plus point that the hotel, while being very near Rialto Bridge and all the sights, was down a very quiet lane, so not too noisy at night!

Very clean , good value for money, near to the main tourist attractions, staff very welcoming - always smiling.

Breakfast was fine for me but my friend cannot eat wheat and found the choice was limited.
Our enquiry about transport to Burano was clearly and helpfully answered.

We were pleased to be offered the facility of leaving our luggage at reception as we had an evening flight.........we would have asked, but it was not necessary.

Clean, comfortable accommodation in an excellent central location with courteous, helpful staff.
