Very helpful and carried our luggage to room and showed/explained room facilities.

Bedroom could have had more storage facility - ie. hanging space and chest of drawers. Not enough for 3 of us. Also lacked a mirror in the bedroom

Should mention there is a big crane and building work going on - although will make facilities better for future. This did not however impact on our stay. Not the best for kids - feel was very orientated towards adults and don't encourage kids. However our 11 year old daughter loved hotel and location.

Just what we dreamed of - a hotel in the Tuscan countryside surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. The owners and staff went out of their way to make you feel very welcome. The imposing tower in Sienna on the horizon reminds you civilisation with great restaurants and shops is very close by. Felsina vineyard in nearby Castelnuovo de Bererdenga worth a visit.

On arrival we found it difficult to locate the reception area as the signs were rather small and spent about 5 minutes wandering around trying to find it. Once we found our way the staff were very helpful.

The photos of the inside of the property did not do justice to Villa Curina because the pictures are rather dark.

More details of the restaurant including sample menus would be very helpful. The restaurant would appear to be a separate business to the hotel but the food and service were excellent.

An excellent place to stay close to Siena and the Chianti region. Accommodation,food and service were very good.
Views from the property are superb and the general ambience of Villa Curina makes it a very good place to stay.

We arrived outside of the normal checking in times (we had phoned before hand) but we were very grateful that the staff accommodated out request.

Driving in Italy was an experience. A more detailed map of the area (around 5km radius) surrounding Villa Curina would have been helpful.

The property was well groomed and maintained, and the views of the glorious Tuscan countryside cannot be done justice by photos and/or words. Villa Curina is in a wonderfully scenic location!

The only caveat would be that there was construction (with a big crane) adjacent to the property. This was visually shocking at first, but a) the construction was noiseless b) we rarely noticed the crane once we were on the porperty and c) I think we got a reduced rate on the room...which was beautiful.

The grounds were manicured in detail. The pool was a pleasant place to relax. The room was like something of a Tuscan dream. The view from our room was out of a postcard...the rolling hills of tuscany stretched out for miles. The on-site restaraunt was excellent with 4-star food and an amazing wine collection. The breakfast was definitely the best one we had during our 2 week stay in Europe.
