Very nice hotel, clean and comfortable. It's located in a very nice place of Rome and it is not away from city centre (you pay a little less and you get a greater service only a few minutes away from city centre by tram or bus). Bridge Milvio area has a lot of restaurants and is well frequented by people. If it is your first time visiting Rome and you come with heavy luggage, try to catch a taxi from Termini because people do not dominate English and sometimes they don’t tell you which is the correct Milvio Bridge bus stop… and you need to walk a little more!

the pictures on the web were more luxioury, in reality everything seemed smaller, but concerning the price the reality was very reasonable and since all the staff were really friendly and the bathroom in very good conditions we were still very satisfied
the breakfast was also very good, excellent cafe latte, fresh bread and fruit juices
the neibourghood was also really nice(not very 'touristic', which we appreciated), with the beautiful Milveo bridge, market place along the river and really good restaurants, why we would definitely stay at Farnesina again
the walking distance to the center was also a positive surprise

There were no foreign TV channels in my room
(only italian channels) which seems totally

(135 euros per night !!!!) There were also no
internet access, which I could not believe

The room was better than we had expected. It was actually two rooms - one with a huge bed and another with a smaller daybed which was ideal for our situation. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The front desk attendant even set up a tour of Rome for us! At other hotels, they tend to point you in the right direction when asking for such things, but this man made the necessary calls and booked the whole thing for us.

Guests could be directed to the nearest tobacchi store to purchase publice transportation passes. As well a small map showing the closest tram line across the Ponte Milvio would be helpful.

I stongly recommend taking a taxi fromt he airport or train station. the rate is 20 euro fron the train and 50 euro from the airport but with bags, it is well worth it.

The receptionist seemed to think the hotel was near the vatican and gave me a bus number to the centre of Rome from there. I had to work out for myself the quickest and easiest way in to the centre - which actually was quite good fun but did cost me a long walk in 36 degrees of heat.

Could have done with some fresh fruit on the breakfast buffet.

Should say its in a quiet residential area in the North of Rome, a short tram ride from the Piazza del Popolo.

A nice hotel out of the centre (20 minutes by bus; by taxi € 15,--). The rooms are good, nice and clean but small. For Rome: fair value for money, but for any other place a little bit to expensive. In general although a good place to stay.

The property was NOT just a short walk from the 'all the major sites', this didn't matter for us (we liked being outside of the centre of Rome) but it is definately misleading.

Check out took 45 minutes because the hotel was unable to correctly process Visa OR American Express cards. We tried four different cards but none of them worked in their machine, and to make matters worse the hotel manager seemed to suggest it was our fault! In the end we had to draw out money in several amounts from different cards using a nearby cashpoint. This was a great shame because up until that point we had very much enjoyed our stay.

There was only 1-2 channel (only italian) on TV, the remote control didn't work. Just like a few light bulb, in the bathroom the whole ceiling lamp was missing.

It may have been useful to advise tourists of asuggested buses you could catch into central Rome as ended up sepnding a fortune on taxis. Good hotel though and liked the location, didn't feel as residential as the website hinted. Nice and clean and very quiet. Rooms a little small but fine for a weekend.

The room was very clean, much smaller than appears on the website, although this doesn't matter. Good safe in room and comfortable bed, There is a fab pizzeria 2 minute walk from the hotel which is great value for money. If you want to experience a bit of REAL ITALIAN LIVING then this hotel allows it. It is off the beaten track and not touristy at all. Yet only a bus ride to the Vatican. I will stay there again when I go to Roma.

Although 45 minutes from the city centre this hotel provides a relaxing base for a Roman holiday; the quality of the rooms is very good though drawer storeage space was zero and this means room is taken up by having to live out of a suitcase. Hotel security is excellent. Very friendly and good restaurants locally and they are very inexpensive.
Breakfasts were very disappointing....unimaginative menu with tinned fruit, watered down fruit juice and poor quality coffee... and what happened to all those scrumptious breads available across the road in the patisserie? - understaffing in the dining room led to slow service - why not use the fabulous outside terrace as well - this would leave room for all 22 rooms to eat at the same time if necessary!
A hotel of this quality should aim to do better.

A good quality, basic and unpretentious small hotel in a slightly 'out of the way' location but well worth the journey out of the town since you get a great insight into the locality and a fine welcome from the people.
