Parking for the Inn signs might have been a bit helpful b/c we ended up driving around the town in search of a spot.

We asked for a wake up call which was important one morning and we never received it. We overslept and almost missed an important appointment.

It was a very beautiful location. When we arrived there was a lovely woman who helped us out. Much appreciated.

One of the best places in the world to chill out and relax. The food and atmosphere are excellant. All the staff were friendly and very helpfull.

Swimming pool is very sheltered from the sun until later in the day.Particularly if you stay out of peak months which we did (early Sept)The property is north facing so you do not get to enjoy sitting on the terrace as the sun sets.
View is aoutstanding and is close enough to see a number of towns particularly Spellowhich is lovely.

I stayed at Relais La Corte di Bettona with a Tauk tour a couple of years ago. I didn't go as much by the website as I did from the previous visit.

The photographs of the swimming pool did not show that an extension had been built which limits the loungers around the pool.
This limited the availability at certain times. This is a limited concern as most guests are not in the hotel much during the day.

Peaceful, handy for surrounding area and good quality accommodation with excellant views of surrounding countryside.

Only car parking whihc is a lack of sapce and not solved very easily. Keys nned to be lefet with reception.

It would be nice to have a English language TV news service.
Breakfats are NOT up to the standard expected. Bread poor in particular.

Pool is quite small, but not an issue with me.

Relaxed place to stay, good evening meals and wine. Not much further choice in the village, so one must drive each day.

W didn't get our passports back when we checked out and had to drive an hour back to retrieve them. The desk clerk was quite preoccupied when we checked out, and though we should have remembered to ask for the passports, it was unpleasant to have to backtrack.

They tried to put me in an ordinary room instead of a suite. It was not until we reached the room that I realised this and then had to go back to reception, argue and then go to a suite-not good.
Also, when I asked for help with bags they said they couldnt for a while as a large group of americans had just checked in-NOT a good way to deal with customers.
also, breakfast ended at 10 am and no-one told us so we missed it.
So, beautiful hotel and location but prro services.

They have lots of large tour groups (american) which can mean the place is taken over

Not all rooms have a bath. Mine didn't and it would have been lovely to have a relaxing soak one evening.

Not enough space for clothes - not enough hangers in wardrobe.
Air conditioning only controlled through reception - real pain - had to phone through at 3 am to swith it off neally every night - too noisey
