My stay at this hotel was my favorite of the entire holiday. the staff was wonderful and I mean all the staff the cleaning the servers the front desk they were always smiling and would do anything for you.

Stunning the view was amazing we were 291 steps from the beach. the rooms were spacious and very clean. Customer service was excellent on all levels very friendly staff.

Staff took our car and parked it, then took our bags to reception. All staff were friendly and helpful.

Ha sido una experiencia inolvidable. Volveríamos al hotel sin duda. Está en un lugar privilegiado en Maricanto, las vistas, la tranquilidad, el jardín, las flores...maravilloso. Y muy cercano a todo; en 10 minutos podíamos estar en Playa Grande cogiendo el barco para excursiones. Irrepetible. Gracias

I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean and has a fantastic viewpoint. The room we had was very large, beautifully furnished and had great views. The staff are extremely polite and helpful and the buffet breakfast was delicious. This was our second time staying in this hotel and we will definitely be back

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was beautiful, spacious and very clean with a modern bathroom. The views from the balcony are spectacular.

This is a fabulous hotel. Once you have the breakfast buffet on the terrace under the lemon trees you will never want to start a day any other way. Sitting on our balcony in the evening watching the sun set on Positano and the sea was the perfect way to end the day. The hotel was a short walk down the hill to the main part of town and an even shorter walk up the hill to the SITA bus stop where we caught the bus to Amalfi and Sorrento. It is impossible to find fault with this hotel.

We, at the suggestion of the hotel staff, took a private car from Naples train station to Positano. The driver was right on time and was well worth the price.

We arrived hot and tired.
The freezer section of the small room refrigerator was frozen solid, so we requested an ice bucket, filled with ice. It was immediately provided.

Only minor problem- I would ask that you not have a room near the bridal party group! They are in a celebratory mood until the wee hours! We had one night that the party group was in the next room until 3:00AM! I think they should all have their rooms in a seperate area of the hotel, if possible.

A sparkling,picturesque, friendly hotel suspended over the beautiful mediterranean and the town of Positano. Be ready to walk alot but the good news is, you can eat all that glorious food and wine and not feel guilty because you will walk it off the next day!! One of our favorite things after a long day of walking, was to come back to the hotel, get a glass of wine and fresh olives and sit on our beautiful balcony and watch the sun set over the town of Positano and watch the lights of town come on and twinkle up and down the mountainside.

It would be useful to provide an iron and ironing board in the rooms! And the shower in the Li Galli suite was very weak.

We stayed in the Li Galli suite which was MUCH better than I had imagined. It was spacious, clean, very tastefully furnished and had fabulous sea views. The hotel itself was of a very high standard, in an excellent location. The staff however, were amazing - incredibly polite, helpful and they really went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed our visit.

This was a very nice experience. I usually take a recommendation from friends but this was the only hotel that returned my request for only 1 night stay. The entire staff was very nice & spoke English quite well. I would recommend your service & this hotel to friends of mine in the travel business.

I stayed in that hotel 30 years ago (!) thus we had no problem finding the way once we reached Positano. However,we found the quality of direction signing in Italy inferior to that which we knew 30 years ago.

I would say it was an amazing hotel, beautiful reception area and breakfast area. Our room was gorgeous with incredible views and a jacuzzi tub. The breakfast was the best breakfast of any hotel we stayed at during our two week trip around Italy. Private beach was breathtaking.. Overall, loved the hotel.

large rooms, large bathrooms, very clean, beautiful views, gorgeous patio and sundeck, great location, good restaurant recommendations by the front desk, helpful and friendly stafrf - the hotel is close to everything, but not in the thick of the tourist craziness. This was one of the best rooms we experienced in the 7 hotels we visited on our trip. Do request an unobstructed view, although only two rooms have a part of a building blocking the water view.

The directions to Positano were good, but the website is not very clear about where to find the hotel in Positano. A map of Positano with the location marked would have been useful.

The Marincanto is an great place to stay. It is clean, well run, and offers excellent views of Positano. The staff were all superb. I did not see any other hotel in Positano where I would have preferred to stay.

The only serious problem with this hotel is the noise. Whoever built that hotel had a total disregard for sound absorbtion. You could hear EVERYTHING. We had to sleep with ear plugs most nights. Beside from that, I'd highly recommend it.

My only complaint was the hotel did not have inernet service available. I don't like taking a computer on my vacation. I had to walk several blocks to an internet cafe to access my e-mail. The staff was great as was the location and accomodations.
