Had to call night before to meet because we were leaving early in the morning the next day.

The hotel was fair for the price paid. The rooms were clean for the most part but also looked like they could use a fresh coat of paint and re-tiling - definitely not dirty however. The room service was sporadic, sometimes it was cleaned, sometimes it wasn't. The location is okay, 10 min walk from train station, but in the direction opposite to where you would want to be. I.e. you are walking away from tourist sights. The shared bath was very clean and modern, cleaned every day. For 43euros the hotel was a good deal, but next time I would try getting a bit closer to the sights.

The lady couldn't speak any English but tried as much as possible to communicate with us. There wasn't much problem to check in and the procedure is pretty fast

The place is spacious and decorated lovely. It is a bit noisy when the windows are open since the rooms are on the road side while the owner is nice enrough to have a sound-proof glass windows and air-conditioner in place.

We were very happy with our stay at Peterson. The neat, clean room that we got was a good value for money we paid. B&B is located on a busy street very close to the railway station. However, plastic windows did not let noise in. It was of a great importance after a day of sightseeing. Besides, its proximity to the station and main sightseeing sites even adds more value to it. But make sure you specify the exact time you expect to check in, because owners might be away and there will be nobody to open the place.

More signage on the door would be nice, but because this was a residence and not a commercial property, it was probably not possible to hang a large neon sign telling everyone where the place was.

It is a great deal , I recommend it to all budget travellers. The only problem is it's not very central, but you cant' get a room this cheap in the centre. And the room is great. Big, clean, soundproof.
Gino and Chiara were always very helpful. They've booked the museums and a cab for us.

The only criticism is that it is a little further from the railway station than mentioned which is only a problem if dragging your suitcase. For walking to sights it is extremely handy

We found the accommodation good, decent sized rooms, very clean and the staff friendly. It is about a ten minute walk from the central station and not too far from the sights. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone on a limited budget and would stay there again if returning to Florence.

The B&B is situation on the first floor, but there is a lift that can be used, which is handy for those with luggage.

The place was announced as bed and breakfast, but it actually was bed and coffee. It's fine, but it must be stated somewhere so the client knows and buys something to eat for breakfast. Otherwise, it was all fine.

We paid by credit card on our day of arrival, so checking out was as simple as leaving the key in the room and departing.

The accomodations were ideal for the budget conscious traveler who is looking for a nice-sized, clean room with easy access to the train station and bus stops. I'd also comment that the air conditioner was a HUGE relief after spending days in the hot Florence sun.

No receoption or Lobby area so getting local information from the staff is difficult when they're not around.

Basic accommodation at a great price, clean and in a good central location.
Service was friendly and helpful when available, but the lack of a dedicated reception desk meant staff weren't always around so it wasn't ideal for tourists that had never been to the city before.

The Italian street signs and number signs were a bit confusing, but Mr. Gino found us before we got lost and nicely introduced the neighborhood and the B&B.

We stayed at the only room without bathroom at Peters B&B, but the shared shower was always clean and available, which was a quite pleasant experience. The staff name and deco the rooms with themes, like 'Pinocchio.' Our room was well-cleaned everyday. The expresso machine offers perfect coffee each morning. It was a nice 5 nights stay.

It was close enough to the rail road, which you can hear the train passing by sometimes. It would be better to close window and lay down the iron blades at night for quietness. Also, the location was a bit off from comercial area. Single female traveler should be aware of walking back to B&B after sunset.

Mr. Gino, the owner, was kind, polite, and helpful. The room was more spacious than we expected from the picture. The room was very very clean and nicely-decoed (we had been in 10 hotels before Florence). Peters B&B is an ideal stay for couples, friends, and family.

We had trouble finding the place and walked past it at first. The receptionist was very helpful once we got in.

The windows keep noise out from the street, but it's easy to hear sound through the walls. We needed to nap in the afternoon (jetlag) and people in the next rooms and reception area sounded pretty loud.

Nice, spaciuos, bright and clean room. Had problems with finding it the first time! But then as we got to know the area better it was ok. About 10-15 minutes walk from the SMN Station. Would recommend for a short stay as the place lacks the kitchen so it can be a bit of a nuisance when you're planning to stay fro longer!

It was clean & secure but not in the best location for easy access to tourist attractions, ie Uffizi or Duomo. It was a bit of a ways to the train station & the opposite direction from sightseeing attractions. Was dissappointed in the location.

I was unable to pay by credit card.
We had to check out by 10am, we were getting train to Pisa at 2pm but were unabl to leave our bags in the bed and bed. I would expect this to be a basic service for guests.
After we checked in on the Friday, we never never seen the owner again, I would expect the owner to be more visible on the premises.

The B & B is unstaffed during the evenings and desk staff were to arrive at 9 AM-which we were not told initially. We barely had enough time to catch our train out of town as we couldn't check out earlier and desk staff arrived a bit later than 9.

I would describe the B & B as an adequate accomodation for those just needing a bed and a shower with no frills. It is a bit of a walk to the major sites in Florence from this location, but not incredibly out of the way.

we booked a double room with a double bed, and upon arrival received two twin beds. the manager encouraged us to push the two twin beds together, however, there were frames preventing the two beds from coming together comfortably. we know that they had double beds as we saw them in the b&b rooms. we were disappointed.

As we had to leave very early on Sunday, we were pleased to find the 'manageress' had anticipated our wish to pay on Saturday morning.

The kettle in the room was useful but a couple of mugs would have been even better.We realised we supplied our own tea/coffee, etc.
