Hotel Deco was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.The breakfast each morning was fresh and tasty.The location was fantastic-we could walk to everything and because it was so close to the train and bus station,we were pleased that we did not have to walk far in order to take the train to Venice for the day.We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Florence. They will get value for their Euro.

We did not know that there was a lift and we struggled our luggage up two flights of stairs.The person at reception assisted us to our room once we arrived at the front desk.

Location was fantastic!!! Just down the street from train station. Steps away from Duomo and easy walking distance to Ponte de Vecchio. Close to many retail shops, restaurants, etc...

Spacious room with private bath. Clean, comfortable. Breakfast included a big plus+++ great too considering Continental.

Pleasant, clean rooms, although somewhat noisy in the very center of Florence. I would book this hotel also for my next visit in Florence.

Easy to find and easy walking distance to the railway station. Hotel desk is on the second floor and could be difficult for some one with limited mobility.

The breakfast was very good - one of the best we had during our three weeks traveling in Italy.

A conveniently located small hotel that is a great base for seeing Florence. Reception staff spoke some English and were always helpful. Our room was on an inside court so very quiet. We would stay here again on a return trip.

The receptionist, Christina, was very helpful, polite and always smiling. She made our stay much easier.

The only problem was the room our girl's had - 201. It was vey small and confined. With their luggage they had little room to walk around. Our room 104 was very nice.

If I revisit Florence at any time , I will prefer Hotel Deco . The only negative part is the lifts starts from the 1st floor otherwise a very good hotel to stay.

Rooms were big and clean. The television only broadcasted programmes on Italian Language which was difficult for to understand.

The room we were allocated (room 303) was satisfactory. The only bad aspect was the boiler system on the roof outside our window which made a noise most of the night/early morning.

There is a lift, but is only available between the first and second floors, and it is only for luggage, not passengers. This was somewhat annoying as we had to carry out luggage up to the third floor.

Directions given were clear but we weren't
anticipating the level of difficulty of
negotiating the maze of one-way streets and
restricted access areas in Florence.
Driving to the Hotel was difficult!
